Leaving for Mandeville/New Orleans on Halloween

This Saturday I'm driving home to look for a job. I really want to move home and will continue to drive there until I find something. Word. Sunday.....due to human resource offices being closed....I'm gonna walk around the quarter and shoot my heart out! Haven't done that in a couple of months and it's high time I bring back some more shots of New Orleans. Wish me luck! Peace!

Blue Ridge Parkway Oct 25th

Yesterday I drove to the Blue Ridge Parkway East of Sylva,NC to shoot the changing of the leaves. The biggest problem.....the colors were either gone or not as vibrant as last years! I'm thinking about ditching everything I shot and just moving on. Oh...and it wasn't just my area. I was talking to someone via phone who was leaf hunting in Dahlonega,GA and they said the same thing. The internet blames the drought....... Who knows. Guess I'll just have to wait for my Halloween New Orleans trip for some decent pics. Word.

Asheville/Smokies Lacking/Word Up

Got back from the Smokies yesterday. It was a bit disappointing....the leaves that is. The adventure was fun! We partied and then partied some more....and are still recovering. But the leaves....the leaves have not changed yet! Though it was beautiful...I was ready for fruity pebbles beautiful. Well....the good news is that I am returning to Asheville this coming Monday to go shoot with a pal! By then...the leaves should be perfect! I'm sooo excited! Word.

ATL During the Fall

Today Jolie and I went to the Aquarium and then walked around downtown a bit. The leaves were changing in the area and it was absolutely beautiful! Maybe Sunday I'll return and shoot some more Fall in Atlanta Photos. Hmmmmm.......

Bryson City, NC Tomorrow

Tomorrow a few friends and I are headed up to Bryson City,NC for some mountain adventure. We were gonna tent it...but the weather will be below freezing and our camera gear (asses as well) would be better in a warm cabin. So it's gonna be two to three days of good ol mountain shooting! Word! Nothing like hiking in the cold after a week of the flu! See ya'll soon!

Changing of the Leaves in NC

Next week I'm taking a solo road trip up to the mountains for the changing of the leaves in Western North Carolina. I'm really excited about this! Last year was soooo much fun....but I didn't get as many shots as I wanted to. But that's not gonna happen this time! I'm going to stop more often and will be alone....thus no distractions! Gonna be gggggrrreatt!!!!

Sick...But More Photo Journeys to Come

I've had the past few days off and had planned to spend some serious time shooting some mountain scenes.....but....I found myself fever ridden on the couch begging for ibuprofen and thermaflu! I've been sick as a dog! I haven't edited, shot, or even thought about photography for almost a week! Oh well.... Today I'm feeling much better and promise to start gearing up for the changing of the leaves next week and the week after! Word up! I'm so ready! Oh.....also....I'm returning to New Orleans this month and will also be in Baltimore again in November! So try to keep up!
